Umberto Cella

Umberto Cella is an accomplished electrical engineer currently working at Green Gravity in Brisbane, where they focus on the electrical design of gravity storage generating systems and grid connection aspects. Previously, Umberto held positions at Digsilent Pacific, conducting power systems studies, and at Aurizon, where they contributed to railway traction power systems through fault investigations, power flow calculations, and the design of monitoring devices. With a strong foundation in electronics design and a PhD from The University of Queensland, Umberto is dedicated to sharing knowledge, evidenced by numerous technical publications and mentoring roles. They are also pursuing a Master of Engineering in Power Systems at Politecnico di Milano.
