Green Yakka is a not-for-profit social enterprise and registered charity providing labour hire and zero waste services to businesses and organisations across Sydney and the Illawarra. We create job pathways for people facing barriers to employment through hands-on work that tackles waste and cares for the land.

Every job, a fair go for someone who needs it
We hire former refugees, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people and others who face barriers to employment. They’ve got the drive and dedication; we provide the support and training, so they thrive on the job. People you can count on, and a fair go for those who need it most.

The hard work's on us
Whether you need one person or a full crew, a single job or ongoing support – we tailor our services to suit your needs. We take care of the lot: recruitment, training, logistics, compliance, planning, delivery, supervision and reporting. That means peace of mind, no hassle and more time to focus on what matters – while we help you meet your sustainability goals behind the scenes.

Experts in the dirty work
We know waste, and we know hands-on work. From sorting and analysing waste streams to bush regeneration, litter-picking, education and reporting, we bring the skills, systems and sleeves-up attitude you need. Our teams are practical, professional and ready to work. No fluff, no fuss.

Award-winning partners in impact
We’re a not-for-profit social enterprise and award-winning leader in social procurement. Partnering with us means investing in people, community and Country. From day-to-day services to major projects and tenders, we’ll help you get the job done and meet sustainability goals – while showing your business stands for something bigger.

We’re built on hard work. Backed by purpose.
