Derek Bashford

Derek Bashford is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in management accounting and financial control. Since August 2015, Derek has served as the Management Accounting Controller at Greencore. Prior to this role, Derek worked at Kerry Group for nearly 11 years, starting as a Financial Controller for the Dry Cereal Business Unit and progressing to Operations Finance management, overseeing 10 plants across multiple countries including the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, Poland, and Belarus. Derek also held the title of Operations, Finance and Supply Chain Director with full P&L responsibility for three UK Cereal plants. Earlier in the career, Derek was the Private Label Financial Controller at Hibernia Foods and the Financial Controller for the Formal Shirts Business Unit at Dewhirst Group.
