Andrew Webb

Andrew Webb, M.Sc., P.Geol., is an experienced geosciences professional currently serving as Geosciences Manager and Senior Geologist at Greenfire Resources since October 2022. Prior to this role, Andrew held the position of Online Mapping Analyst at TELUS International and served as Senior Geologist at CNOOC International from November 2011 to April 2020, where responsibilities included advancing geological and economic analyses of Oil Sands assets and influencing partner decisions in non-operated projects. Additionally, Andrew worked as an Offshore Development Geoscientist for Nexen Petroleum UK Ltd, focusing on developing oil resources in the Buzzard Field and overseeing critical well proposal documents. Andrew's career began at Nexen Inc. as a Geologist, where contributions included evaluating production data to enhance resource recovery. Andrew holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Carleton University.
