Michael Matchett, P.Eng. is an engineering leader and entrepreneur with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Calgary. They served as an Exploitation Engineer and Engineering Intern at Crescent Point Energy Corp. before taking on various roles, including Senior Technical Advisor and Senior Exploitation Engineer at Crescent Point Energy. Currently, Michael leads Development Planning at Greenfire Resources and is the founder of ZippGuard Inc., while also holding the position of Team Lead for Development Planning at Veren. Previously, they directed QMec Productions Inc. from 2015 to 2019.
