Sam Cooper has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2007 with Portland Parks & Recreation, where they held the roles of Assistant Manager and Supervisor/Coach. In 2011, they joined Lewis & Clark College as a member of the 2014 Commencement Planning Committee, Finance Committee, and Budget Advisory Committee. In 2012, they interned for U.S. House of Representatives Representative Blumenauer. In 2013, they were a Policy and Research Intern at City Club of Portland. In 2014, they were a Staff Assistant for U.S. Congressman Earl Blumenauer. In 2015, they were a Customer Care Advisor at Squarespace. In 2016, they joined Opal as a CS Engineer and Support Specialist. In 2020, they became a Project Manager at Forix. In 2022, they are a Partner Integrations Manager at Greenfly.
Sam Cooper attended Grant High School from 2006 to 2010 and Lewis & Clark College from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
