Mark Singleton

Mark Singleton has extensive work experience in the biosciences and agricultural solutions industries. Mark currently holds the positions of Chief Commercial Officer and General Manager at GreenLight Biosciences, where they oversee commercial operations. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President of Technology and External Innovation at the same company. Before joining GreenLight Biosciences, Mark worked at UPL as the Head of New Technology from 2019 to 2021. Mark also served in various roles at Arysta LifeScience, including Vice President of R&D and Regulatory and Global Product Development Manager. At Chemtura Corporation, Mark held the position of Director of Global Technology for Chemtura AgroSolutions, where they successfully managed R&D strategies and defended Chemtura's proprietary portfolio. Mark also worked at Chemtura Europe Ltd as the New Product Development Manager, leading optimization projects and operational transformations. Mark has demonstrated strong leadership skills, managing teams and budgets, and providing strategic direction for development and innovation efforts.

Mark Singleton received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) with honors degree in Agricultural Business Technology from Harper Adams University in 1991. Mark then pursued a PhD in Population Dynamics at the University of Wolverhampton from 1994 to 2004. In addition to their academic achievements, Singleton also obtained certifications including the Plant Protection Award from BASIS Registration Ltd in 2002, BASIS certification in 1995, and BAA parts 1 - 3 from BAA.
