Ben Garrison

Ben Garrison is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing software solutions, particularly in the banking sector. Currently at Greenlight, Ben leads full-stack application and API design using TypeScript, Kotlin, and Next.js. Prior tenure at Rocket Mortgage involved leading a team to develop a high-performance Mortgage as a Service API and Event-Driven Cloud platform. At Apiture, Ben was instrumental in backend API design and mentoring junior engineers, while significant contributions at Live Oak Bank included a transition from Salesforce to AWS and full-stack development of an online banking portal. Earlier roles include software engineering at AlphaCM, Inc. and web development at REEDS Jewelers. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
