Michael Nates

Dr. Michael Nates is a board advisor and consultant specializing in ESG, carbon management, and occupational health and safety. As Managing Director at Multiverse Consultants since 2002, they focus on change management and transformation across various sectors, undertaking significant projects that include developing ESG training and frameworks for multinational organizations. Dr. Nates has served as an academic assessor for the Saïd Business School and holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, along with multiple engineering degrees from the University of Cape Town. Currently, they also hold advisory and directorial positions in several organizations, driving sustainability initiatives and executive coaching.
