Tom Cheung

Tom Cheung is an Investment Partner of SB Investment Advisors, based in the US. Tom has a long track record of investing and growing businesses in the technology and financial services industries.

Prior to joining SBIA, Tom was a board member of Kaseya, the enterprise SaaS company, a portfolio company of Insight Venture Partners, where he provided counsel to the CEO and Board on operational scaling, building the management team, and strategic transactions. Tom was a senior executive at Deutsche Bank AG, where he ran the Structured Finance business globally, after creating the Asian private equity business and managing the distressed trading business in Asia. Tom was a Principal investor at Insight Venture Partners, one of the leading software PE firms in the world, where he focused on enterprise software investments, recruiting management teams, and serving on portfolio Boards. He was also a Co-founder of Oakdale Capital, an equity long-short hedge fund. He began his career at the First Boston Corporation (a predecessor to Credit Suisse), after graduating from Harvard University.
