GreenSTEM Education is an Australian not-for-profit charity that exists to break down barriers to STEM learning and unlock the unlimited potential of young people through hands-on, real-world, and industry-connected experiences. Based in Tasmania and operating nationally, we empower students, schools, and communities—especially those in regional, remote, and underserved areas—to design, build, code, invent, and race their way into a future shaped by innovation, creativity, and opportunity.

We are the national licensee of the Greenpower program, a global initiative that challenges students to design, build, and race electric vehicles. As the national home of Greenpower Australia, we’re driving change in STEM education—literally and figuratively.

Our programs include:

Greenpower (F24 and Goblin): International electric vehicle engineering and racing for primary and secondary students.

FIRST LEGO League: Supporting teams across Tasmania through regional events, loan libraries, and coaching support.

STEM Unlimited: Free weekly access to transformative STEM opportunities for young people aged 10–16.

STEM on Track: After-school karting meets engineering, introducing students to mechanics, motorsport, and STEM careers.

Game Lab: A hands-on game design and coding program aligned with the Australian STEM Video Game Challenge.

BIG Science Fair: Tasmania’s largest in-person science fair, engaging students in science, engineering, and creative technology.
