Susanne Hellstrand

Susanne Hellstrand has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Susanne has held various finance and leadership roles in different companies.

Susanne'smost recent position was at Greenstep, where they started in November 2020 as a Senior Manager in CFO services and Business Development.

Prior to that, Susanne worked at Recover Nordic Suomi from 2016 to 2020. During their time there, they served as the Chief Financial Officer and later as the CEO and CFO. Susanne played a key role in turning around the company's financial performance and overseeing two complete exit processes.

Before Recover Nordic Suomi, Susanne worked at Lemminkäinen Oyj as the VP of Finance and Administration in 2015. Susanne also had a brief stint at Lemminkäinen Norge AS in 2014, where they worked as a Senior Advisor and later as an Interim CFO.

Susanne was also employed by maxit Oy Ab/Saint-Gobain Rakennustuotteet Oy as a CFO from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Finance and HR at maxit Oy Ab from 2006 to 2009.

Susanne started their career at Vattenfall Oy in 2000, where they initially served as the Project Manager for the Finance Shared Service Center project. From 2001 to 2006, they were responsible for the implemented Finance Shared Service Center.

Susanne also worked at Vattenfall Sähkönmyynti Oy as a Finance Manager from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, they gained experience as a Financial Controller at Wärtsilä Diesel International Ltd Oy from 1995 to 1997.

Throughout their career, Susanna demonstrated expertise in finance, business control, and turnaround management. Susanne has also gained experience in mergers and acquisitions, divestments, and project management.

Susanne Hellstrand obtained their Matriculation Exam with a laudatur grade from Jakobstads Gymnasium from 1979 to 1982. Following this, they pursued their higher education at Åbo Akademi University from 1982 to 1987, where they earned an MSc degree in Economics.
