Alex Ross is a seasoned professional with over a decade of work experience. Alex began their career in 2008 as Operations Manager at The Daily Aztec. In 2010, they joined Cannon Trading, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2011, they joined Cisco in a Strategy & Finance role. In 2012, they co-founded Enplug, Inc., where they served as CTO and grew revenues to over $5M ARR. In 2013, they became an Adviser & Organizer at the LA CTO Forum. In 2016, they joined Tinder, Inc. as Director of Engineering, where they led the effort to rebuild Tinder's signup system and founded the Trust & Safety team. In 2020, they became CEO & Co-Founder of Gregarious, Inc., where they created a zero-guesswork plant care app that was Apple's App of the Day in August 2021.

Alex Ross has attended the University of California, Los Angeles, and is currently enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology pursuing a Micromasters in Data Science & Statistics. Alex has also obtained certifications from Imperial College London in Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra and Mathematics for Machine Learning: Multivariate Calculus in June 2019, as well as certifications from Coursera in Deep Learning Specialization, Stanford University in Machine Learning, and MITx in Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data in January 2019.
