Eric Nelson

Eric Nelson is a Council Member at Greif. Eric previously worked at Sonoco from August 1988 to December 1995 as a Shift Manufacturing Supervisor in Windsor Locks, CT. In this role, they were responsible for the plant's first shift personnel in the manufacturing and shipment of fiber drum industrial containers. Eric supervised the Winding, Assembly, Shipping and Maintenance Departments in this union facility to maintain / improve the levels of safety, customer satisfaction, productivity, costs and inventory. Eric also led the plant quality system and achieved ISO compliance.

Eric Nelson has a MBA in Marketing / General Business from Northern Illinois University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University.
