Jorge Sanchez has extensive experience in the manufacturing and recycling sectors, notably serving as Mill Buyer and General Manager at Greif, Inc. since May 1994, where significant achievements include leading the New DePere Recycling plant to earn Greif’s Chairman Safety Award in both 2019 and 2020. Prior to this, Jorge held the position of General Manager at Caraustar Industries, Inc. from February 2015 to February 2019, managing both the Green Bay and Neenah locations which received the Safety Excellence Award in 2018. Starting as Plant Manager at Newark Recycled Paperboard Solutions in May 1994, Jorge enhanced operations across multiple locations including Green Bay, Atlanta, and Mobile. Esteemed for a commitment to safety, Jorge has received multiple Golden Guard awards for Safety Excellence throughout various tenures. Additionally, Jorge served as an E-5 Sergeant with the Connecticut Army National Guard from December 1987 to January 1994 and holds an education from Hartford State Tech.
