Jani Alenius

Jani Alenius is an enthusiastic sustainability leader currently serving as the Head of ESG at Gren, where they oversee ESG strategy, initiatives, and capabilities. With over 15 years of experience in professional services related to climate change and corporate sustainability, they have held senior roles at organizations such as EY, Nordea, and DNV. Jani has successfully ramped up advisory and assurance practices in consulting firms and has worked with clients across various sectors, including banking, telecom, and energy. They hold multiple master's degrees in Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Business Law from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu and Aalto University, alongside a Bachelor's degree from Kymenlaakso Polytechnic in the Master Mariner Programme.
