Ning Sun has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Currently, they serve as the CTO and co-founder of Greptime Inc. Ning previously worked at DiDi as a senior software engineer from 2018 to 2022. Before that, they were employed at Alibaba Cloud as a technical expert from 2017 to 2018. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at LeanCloud as a software engineer, where they led the design and development of the messaging system. Prior to that, they were a software developer at AVOS Systems Inc. from 2012 to 2014, focusing on activity stream system design and implementation. Ning also gained experience as a senior software development engineer at Tekelec from 2011 to 2012 and as an associate software engineer at SAP Labs from 2010 to 2011. Ning began their career as a software developer at SNDA, SDO from 2009 to 2010 and as an intern at IBM, China Research Laboratory, Beijing from 2008 to 2008.
Ning Sun completed a Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science from Nanjing University between 2005 and 2009.
