Gresham Wealth was founded in 1999 by Mike Brauteseth. Mike started in the industry back in 1969 and built a highly successful career with Old Mutual as one of their top advisors. He identified the need for an independent professional financial advisory and wealth management offering to better service private individuals and their families. Through Gresham, Mike was able to offer a more intimate, independent, and integrated approach to financial planning.

The name Gresham pays homage to a rich legacy of global banking and investments – and an overarching passion for finance. It also speaks to an abiding family commitment to meaningful wealth management and financial services. In 2007, Mike’s son-in-law, Mark Daniel, and his son, Derek Brauteseth, returned from London to join Mike in practice. Today, Gresham Wealth is a leading boutique financial advisory and wealth management practice.
