Tom Black

Tom Black is an experienced professional in forestry asset management, currently serving as Associate Director and Forestry Asset Manager at Gresham House since June 2021. In this role, Tom Black focuses on delivering operational programs across the portfolio, optimizing value and processes, and identifying new business opportunities. Previously, Tom Black worked at Savills from September 2013 to May 2021 as Forestry Manager, where responsibilities included forest management, harvesting and marketing, project management for woodland creation, and long-term planning, along with business development and client relations. Tom Black holds a Master of Science in Forest Ecosystem Management from the University of Cumbria and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
