Baraka Mafole has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. In 2023, they worked as a Content & Community Manager for Grey (YC W22), focusing on Eastern Africa. Prior to that, in 2022, they founded their own company called jukwaaafrica. In the same year, they also worked as a Coordinator for Socialmediadaytz. In 2021, they co-founded Sanuka Kidijitali and worked as a Phone Tester for Global Telecom Testing, LLC. baraka also worked as a Project Manager for Beijing Willtech Co., Ltd. In the same year, they briefly worked as a Data Collector for LXT. baraka'swork experience dates back to 2020 when they served as a Digital Communications Manager for GigSpaceTZ.

Baraka Mafole attended the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) from 2021 to 2024, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies.
