John Elton

John Elton is a Partner at Greycroft, a venture capital firm focused on investing in media and technology companies. John has also served on the board of several companies, including Candid Co., PebblePost, MapAnything, Inc., Button, Inc., and Vidible.

Elton has over 20 years of experience in the media and technology industries. John began their career as a software engineer at Microsoft, where they worked on the development of the Windows operating system. John then transitioned to the media industry, holding various positions at AOL and NBC Universal. In 2013, they joined the board of Vidible, a video content exchange that was acquired by AOL in 2014.

Elton has a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Washington.

John Elton graduated from Ridgewood High School and then completed their undergraduate degree in economics at Lehigh University. John went on to earn their MBA from NYU Stern School of Business with specializations in finance and marketing.
