Melissa Danner

Melissa Danner is an experienced financial professional with a robust background in accounting and management. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Accounting at Greystar since January 2009, Danner has a proven track record of overseeing a third-party property accounting team of approximately 75 employees and managing around 400 multi-family communities across the U.S. Prior to Greystar, Danner held various roles at JPI Companies from April 2007 to January 2009, including Controller and Accounting Manager, following the acquisition of JPI Management Services by Greystar. Earlier in the career, Danner gained extensive experience as a Sr Accountant at Centex Homes and as a Staff Accountant at Commercial Metals Company, where an initial role as an Information Technology Analyst transitioned into accounting. Danner holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
