Mihaela Banea

Mihaela Banea has extensive work experience in the field of business intelligence and data analysis. Mihaela began their career in 1999 at Equisoft as a Consultant, where they worked until 2005. In 2007, they joined B2T Affaires + Technologies as a Consultant for a brief period before joining Commission scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys as a BI Developer. Mihaela held this role until 2018 when they transitioned to GRICS. At GRICS, Mihaela held multiple roles including Senior Data Analyst from 2018 to 2021, and currently, they are working as a Business Intelligence Analyst.

Mihaela Banea obtained a Licentiate degree in Management Information Systems, General from Babeș-Bolyai University, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Mihaela later pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from the same university from 1996 to 1997. In 2016 to 2017, they obtained a 2nd cycle certification in Information Technology from École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM). Mihaela continued their education at ESG UQAM, where they obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from 2018 to 2022.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Mihaela Banea also holds several certifications. Mihaela received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in May 2020. In October 2018, they obtained the PH125.1x: Data Science: R Basics certification from HarvardX, an online learning initiative by Harvard University through edX. Mihaela further expanded their expertise with Microsoft certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate in February 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate in December 2020, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate in September 2020.
