Nina Axelson

Nina Axelson is the President and Founder of Grid Catalyst, where they work with regional partners to accelerate clean energy solutions for northern climates. Previously, Axelson served as VP of Sustainability and Outreach at Ever-Green Energy, leading sustainability objectives and community relations, and managed various impactful projects including the nation’s largest solar thermal installation. Between 2004 and 2007, Axelson worked with the St. Anthony Park Community Council as an Environment Coordinator and Community Organizer, leading conservation efforts and strategic planning initiatives. They also contributed to the renewable energy sector as an Independent Consultant and managed corporate social responsibility programs at Best Buy, engaging employees and promoting diversity initiatives. Axelson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
