Wes Dodd has been working in software engineering for over 25 years. Wes began their career in 1992 as a Senior Software Engineering Consultant at Zenith. In 1996, they moved to 3Com in the same role. In 2004, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Grid Connect and a Senior Software Engineering Consultant at Fast Heat and Lantronix. In 2006, they became a Senior Software Engineering Consultant at General Dynamics. In 2007, they began working as a Senior Consulting Software Engineer at Air Logic Power Systems. Throughout their career, they have provided maintenance support and development services for a variety of products, including DSTni-EX and DSTni-LX CPUs, Grid Connect board and module-level products, CAN bus communications, bottle test state machine logic, Profibus interface to PLC, ARM7 processor, C and assembly, GNU tools, Nucleus operating system, CANOpen, flash memory management, network connectivity, USB device support, SPI, Ethernet, I2C and serial protocols.
Wes Dodd attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1975 to 1980 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
