Pavlo Marchenko

Pavlo Marchenko has a range of work experience in software engineering and data science. Pavlo started their career as a Junior Software Engineer at CyberVision, Inc., where they worked on projects involving the development of applications using the Kaa IoT middleware framework. Pavlo then joined Daxx Software Development Teams in Ukraine as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of a microservice aggregation system for managing insurance products and a CRM for direct sales.

In 2018, Pavlo became a Senior Big Data Developer at VEON, where they built big data processing platforms and business applications for VEON DMP Eurasia hub and Kyivstar. Pavlo took on various responsibilities such as developing microservices, leading a team of software engineers, conducting technical interviews, and writing project documentation.

Pavlo later co-founded Sender Fulfillment, a small e-commerce company that focused on outsourcing stock and delivery activities. Pavlo developed a stock management CRM system integrated with postal operators in Ukraine to automate the package assembly and delivery process.

After that, Pavlo worked as a Software Consultant at ZBS Tech, providing software development consultancy services. Their responsibilities included requirements analysis, architecture discussions, software development processes, code implementation and review, and production environment setup. Pavlo used a variety of tech stack and frameworks, including Type Script, GoLang, React JS, Metamask, Web3, Nginx, Docker, Vultr cloud, Cloudfare, and Mongodb.

Currently, Pavlo holds the role of Lead Software Engineer at Grid Dynamics, where they are responsible for leading a software engineering team. Pavlo also worked as a Big Data Engineer at the company before taking on their current role. In this position, Pavlo leveraged their expertise in big data to contribute to the company's projects.

Additionally, Pavlo has recently joined Postdata as a Data Science Consultant, applying their expertise in data science to provide consultation services.

Pavlo Marchenko graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' in 2017. Pavlo then pursued a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the same institution, which they completed in 2019. Later, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' in 2026. Additionally, Pavlo has completed various certifications in fields such as AI, data analysis, Agile methodologies, deep learning, big data analysis, functional programming, machine learning, negotiation strategies, and unit testing.
