Ruslan Lapin

Ruslan Lapin is a seasoned data scientist with experience at Grid Dynamics since March 2021, focusing on reducing unit testing time through machine learning and optimization techniques. Previously, Ruslan served as a team lead at Gazpromneft-NTC from January 2017 to March 2021, where effective leadership was demonstrated in managing a team of engineers and developing software for calculating the elastic properties of fractured reservoirs. Earlier, Ruslan worked as a scientific researcher at Mekhanobr-Tekhnika in 2018, conducting data analysis of rock samples and creating optimization software. Academically, Ruslan holds a PhD in Engineering Science from Saint Petersburg State University and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
