Onboarding Data Lead at Grid Edge

Daniel Ollerenshaw has held a variety of roles in the energy and manufacturing industries since 2011. From 2011-2014, they worked as a Temporary Office Junior for Roevin Technical People, a division of Adecco Employment Service Limited. During this time, they were responsible for filing tasks and administrative housekeeping, and was eventually given the responsibility of sourcing candidates for the recruitment staff. Daniel also worked as a Temporary Agency Worker for Hewett Recruitment and as an Assembly Operative for Koito Europe Limited. From 2014-2017, they worked as a Data Analyst for ENER-G PLC, and from 2017-2018, they were a Data Analyst for Utilitywise. Currently, they are a Senior Technical Data Engineer for Grid Edge, where they are tasked with commissioning Tridium Niagara4 control systems and data networks, and providing clients with preliminary site analyses. Daniel is also working alongside a team of data scientists to provide in-depth site data analysis.

Daniel Ollerenshaw obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physical Geography from the University of Worcester between 2009 and 2012. Daniel then went on to receive a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Meteorology and Climatology from the University of Birmingham between 2012 and 2013. In 2018, they obtained a Network Protocols and Architecture certificate from Coursera Course Certificates in September, as well as a Niagara 4 Technical Certification from Tridium in May. Finally, in 2021, they obtained a Level 2 Energy Management Professional certificate from the Energy Institute in September.
