Aeron Buchanan

Aeron Buchanan has held various roles in the tech industry, beginning in 2009 as Production Manager for AlnStar Productions. In 2010, they worked as a Mathematics Tutor for FocusMaths; Oxford International College; Oxford Science Studies. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Director for Lancaster Logic Response Ltd and a Computer Vision Consultant for Microsoft Research Cambridge. In 2013, they were a Lead Programmer for Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. In 2014, they were a Researcher and Regulatory Compliance Expert for Ethereum, modelling blockchain systems to inform the design of stable infrastructure and providing technical translation of the technology for regulator understanding. Aeron also served as Head of European Finance and Operations. In 2015, they were Co-Founder for Parity Technologies. In 2016, they were Co-Founder for Grid Singularity. Since 2017, they have been Advisor for Mattereum and Vice President and Executive Vice President for Web 3 Foundation.

Aeron Buchanan has a comprehensive education history. Aeron completed their DPhil in Tracking Non-Rigid Objects in Video at the University of Oxford from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they also attended Imperial College London and completed an Advanced Methods in Taxonomy and Biodiversity course in 2006-2007. Before that, they earned their MEng in Engineering and Computing Science from St Anne's College, Oxford University from 1998 to 2002.
