Ana Trbovich

Co-Founder and COO at Grid Singularity

Ana Trbovich has over a decade of experience in the fields of policy, business advisory, project design and management, executive search and HR restructuring. Ana began their career in 2006 as a Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration (FEFA) in Belgrade, where they taught Strategic Management, Public Administration Management, Business Negotiations, and Theirtory of the European Idea. In 2010, they became a Partner at EBA - EuroBalkan Advisors, representing FCG Sweden (formerly SIPU International) in relevant EU and other projects business development in Serbia and the Western Balkans. In 2012, they took on the role of Regional Business Development Manager at FCG SIPU International. In 2015, Ana co-founded Intersection. Centre for Science and Innovation, an international action tank, a non-profit civil society organisation. In 2016, they co-founded Grid Singularity, an awarded, open-source energy technology company, and the same year they joined the Governing Board & Executive Committee of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). In 2017, Ana co-founded the Energy Web Foundation and was appointed as the Foundation Council Vice-Chair. In 2018, they were selected as a World Economic Forum Tech Pioneer. In 2020, Ana joined the UNECE Carbon Neutrality Project Advisory Board and the DENA Set Hub Advisory Board.

Ana Trbovich began their educational journey in 1993, when they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Tufts University, majoring in Economics, International Relations, and French Literature. Ana then continued their studies at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where they earned a MALD and PhD in Public International Law, International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, and Europe between 1996 and 2006. Finally, they completed an MPA in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School between 1999 and 2001.
