Filomena Freire

Filomena Freire has been working in the finance and accounting industry since 1993. Filomena began their career as Finance & Administration Manager at Steelcase in 1993. In 1998, they joined Linde as Finance & Accounting Manager, Board Member and was later promoted to Finance & Control Manager. In 2021, they took on the role of Finance & HR Manager at Grid Singularity, an energy exchange software development company. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for finance and accounting, financial controlling, business controlling, and coordination of legal matters. Filomena was also a nominated member of the Board of Directors in 2009.

Filomena Freire obtained their Economics degree from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management between 1984 and 1989. In 1995, they became a Chartered Accountant, and in 1989 they became a Chartered Economist. In 2003, they earned their Master of Business Administration - MBA (ISEG) from the University of Lisbon, with a focus on Economics, Management. In 2005, they became a Certified Training Professional from IEFP.
