Steinn Sigurdarson

Steinn Sigurdarson has over 10 years of professional work experience. In 2018, they joined GRID as the "backend co-founder" and Platform Team Lead. Steinn built the Platform Team and developed a monolithic python3 application using Clean Architecture principles. From 2015-2018, they worked at Takumi as Director of Engineering and CTO. At Takumi, they worked closely with the technical co-founder to hire engineers and implement the product across all surfaces. From 2013-2015, they worked at Plain Vanilla Games as Infrastructure Engineer and Team Lead. There, they were a backend developer and team leader with a focus on infrastructure development for the flagship product QuizUp. From 2012-2013, they worked at telSolutus as a Consultant. From 2011-2012, they worked at IMC Iceland as a Senior Engineer and Software Developer. From 2009-2011, they worked at Siminn as a Developer and Consultant. From 2009-2010, they worked at Open Universiteit Nederland as an ICT Developer. From 2008-2009, they worked at Tegur as a Consultant. From 2006-2007, they worked at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration as a Scientific Project Staff.
