Tim Dummitt, PMP

Tim Dummitt, PMP has extensive work experience in project management and strategic management services. Tim currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at GridBright, where they provide executive program management and strategic management services for electric utilities to implement, integrate, and upgrade grid management applications.

Prior to joining GridBright, Tim worked as Vice President of Services and Delivery at Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the UC&T organization. During their tenure, the UC&T business unit experienced significant growth in both revenue and profit margin. Tim also served as the PMO Director at Intergraph, managing the Project Management Organization and implementing industry best practices.

Before their time at Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure, Tim worked as a Senior Consultant at POWER Engineers, where they provided advice and expertise in operational efficiency, project management, and technical solution design. Tim also served as the Lead Program Manager, Implementation Lead, and Technical Consultant on various utility and power projects.

Prior to joining POWER Engineers, Tim held the position of National Call Center Director at Foundations Recovery Network, where they were responsible for planning, developing, and directing all aspects of the organization's admissions program.

Earlier in their career, Tim worked as a Projects Controller at AFL Communications and NorthStar Communications, responsible for establishing and monitoring budgets and financial results for the engineering divisions. Tim also held the role of Director of Operations at Apex CoVantage, managing the successful delivery of integrated projects for a telecommunications company.

Tim's career started at QC Data, where they served as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing the operation of an engineering and design center focused on GIS and telecommunication records maintenance.

Tim Dummitt, PMP has a diverse education history. In 2001, they attended Hinds Community College, where they pursued an Associates degree in Business Management. Tim completed their studies in 2003. Following this, from 2002 to 2005, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Leadership. Most recently, in 2011, they pursued an MBA (in progress) at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in the field of Business Administration.
