CEO & Co-Founder at Gridium

Tom Arnold is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Gridium, a company specializing in energy efficiency. Prior to Gridium, Tom was the Vice President of Energy Efficiency and Carbon Solutions at EnerNOC from October 2008 to April 2011. There, they led a team focusing on Persistent Commissioning for large energy users. By accessing large amounts of building data and performing advanced analytics, EnerNOC can save a large building 15% or more of its energy spend. Most of the reductions come from operational changes, meaning energy managers can fight climate change and save money without budgeting capital upgrades.

Before EnerNOC, Tom co-founded and served as the Chief Environmental Officer (CEO) of TerraPass from May 2005 to October 2008. At TerraPass, Tom helped develop and market economically viable products and services that help combat global warming by mitigating human-made environmental emissions.

Tom Arnold holds an MBA from The Wharton School, which they attended from August 2003 to May 2005. Prior to Wharton, Tom worked as a Consultant at Mercer Management Consulting from August 1998 to February 2000 and as Snr Manager Business Development & Marketing at Redback Networks from February 2000 to May 2003.

Tom Arnold's educational career consists of an MBA from The Wharton School, as well as an AB in Economics from Dartmouth College.

Greg Anderson - Director of Data Science, Joseph Thomas - Senior Software Engineer, and Tim Canavan - Director of Operations report to Tom Arnold.
