Gridline Press was founded in 2025 by Dan Knight, an award-winning freelance motorsport photographer, with a clear vision: to create a publication that brings readers closer to the racing world through authentic storytelling and striking imagery.

What began as a personal passion project has grown into a dedicated platform for race coverage, photography, and in-depth features, shining a spotlight on the vibrant and diverse motorsport scene both in the UK and beyond.

At Gridline Press, our mission is to deliver comprehensive race reports, engaging editorial content, and high-quality photography from a wide range of series. From grassroots club events to national headline championships and selected international races, we cover the full spectrum of motorsport with accuracy, passion, and a genuine love for the sport.

We believe every paddock has a story to tell. By combining professional journalism with trackside insight, Gridline Press highlights the people, teams, and moments that define each race weekend. Whether it’s a fiercely contested sprint at a local circuit or the drama of an overseas endurance race, we’re committed to capturing the atmosphere and emotion that make motorsport so captivating.

Gridline Press is more than just a publication — it’s a place for fans, competitors, and newcomers alike to immerse themselves in the world of racing, through detailed reporting and compelling photography.
