Mark Waylonis

Mark Waylonis is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various high-tech companies. Currently serving at Gridmatic since December 2022, Mark focuses on software engineering. Previously, Mark worked at Meta from November 2021 to November 2022, contributing to core infrastructure projects, and at Lyft from November 2018 to August 2021, enhancing infrastructure for autonomous vehicles. Prior experience includes a tenure at Mayfield Robotics from October 2016 to October 2018, where responsibilities included designing, building, testing, deploying, and monitoring backend services for robots, and at Edavine from March 2015 to October 2016 as a full-stack developer of dynamic web applications using technologies such as Node, Python, Tornado, MySQL, and React. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics and a Master of Science in Atmospheric Science from the University of California, Davis.
