Philippe Kirschen

Philippe Kirschen is an experienced Optimization Engineer currently working at Gridmatic since June 2022. Previous roles include Manager of System Optimization and Optimization Engineer at Hyperloop One from June 2016 to February 2022, as well as Team Captain for the MIT Hyperloop Team. Philippe's experience also encompasses positions as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and intern roles at NASA Ames Research Center and Triumph Aerospace Group LLC. Philippe holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics from MIT and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Economics from the University of Michigan. Education was completed at Cheadle Hulme School in Manchester, England.
