Dan Gold

Dan Gold is the Chief Executive Officer, managing partner and founder of QVT Financial LP, an asset management company with offices in New York, Palo Alto and New Delhi. He founded the QVT group at Deutsche Bank shortly after joining in 1992, having previously worked as a proprietary trader at Daiwa Securities America (Assistant Vice President from 1990 to 1992) and at Bear, Stearns & Co. (Associate from 1989 to 1990). Gold currently serves as a board member for two companies in the shipping and offshore industry. He holds an A.B. in Physics from Harvard College.
