Derek Booth

Derek Booth currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at GridPoint since February 2024. Prior to this role, Derek held various leadership positions at Johnson Controls from July 2018 to February 2024, including Vice President of Central Customer Support Services & Delivery Optimization and Transformation Strategy Leader, focusing on service and installation delivery transformation in the HVAC, Fire & Security domains. From June 2010 to July 2018, Derek was the Senior Director of Business Transformation and Senior Director of Operations Services at Tyco Integrated Solutions & Services - NA, leading initiatives to optimize delivery models and streamline operations across North America. Earlier in the career, Derek worked at ADT Security Services as Regional Director of Operations and at Suburban Propane as Regional Service Manager, managing extensive operational teams. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Rutgers University, obtained in 1996.
