Hugh Chan

Hugh Chan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2016, they worked as a Tutor at CodeCreate, where they developed course content and delivered lessons to students. In 2017, they held an Engineering Trainee position at Cingulan Space. In 2018, Hugh co-founded Snack, an EdTech company focused on creating and sharing digital whiteboard content online. Hugh also worked as a Software Engineer at pearler., where they built a customer onboarding flow using React. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Engineering Intern at Cochlear. In 2019, Hugh worked as an Academic Tutor and Laboratory Demonstrator at UNSW, teaching courses in Object-Oriented Design and Programming and Software Engineering Fundamentals. Hugh continued their academic involvement at UNSW in 2020, working as an Academic Tutor. During this time, Hugh also worked as a Graduate Engineer at Cochlear, where they contributed to Systems Engineering and Market Insights projects.
