Anthony Scodary has a diverse work experience. In 2012, they co-founded Gridspace, which makes software that understands human conversational speech. This venture has been recognized by NIPS, Gartner, HBR, and NVIDIA for its novel approach to speech and language understanding. Prior to this, Scodary worked as a Systems Engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 2008-2012, where they were an instrument engineer for the REMS and APXS instruments on the Curiosity rover. Anthony also worked on the Juno mission to Jupiter, unmanned Global Hawk atmospheric missions, and the Phoenix lander sent to the Martian arctic. Before that, Scodary worked as a Research at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory from 2007-2008.
Anthony Scodary received their Bachelor of Science in Physics from Stanford University between 2004 and 2008. Anthony then went on to receive their Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Stanford University in 2008. Before attending Stanford University, Anthony Scodary graduated from Ladue Horton Watkins High School in 2004.
