Anne Emig

Vice President, Business & People Operations at GridStor

Anne Emig has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Anne currently holds the position of Vice President, Business Operations at GridStor since January 2023.

Prior to their current role, Anne worked at Revel, where they served as Vice President, Business Operations & Corporate Development from January 2022 to January 2023. Anne also held the positions of VP & Head of Micromobility from September 2020 to January 2022, and Associate Director, Cities from October 2019 to September 2020.

Anne has also worked at Bloomberg Philanthropies from September 2012 to September 2019, where they played a significant role in co-designing, launching, and managing the American Cities Climate Challenge, a $70 million investment program aimed at accelerating climate action in 25 U.S. cities.

Earlier in their career, Anne worked as a Senior Analyst at HR&A Advisors from June 2011 to September 2012, providing development advisory services for public and private clients. Anne was involved in advising Major League Soccer on site selection and land use approvals for a soccer stadium in New York City, among other projects.

Anne was also a Senior Associate, External Affairs at One Economy Corporation from November 2006 to September 2009, where they managed a public-private partnership project focused on technology access in California.

Anne began their career in the arts sector, working at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as an Assistant Manager, Corporate, Foundation and Government Relations from October 2004 to November 2006, and at The Kennedy Center as an Assistant to the Vice President in 2004.

Anne Emig holds a Master's degree in City Planning with a focus in Community and Economic Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business from Kansas State University. In addition, they also pursued a minor in English Literature at Kansas State University. Unfortunately, specific start and end years for each educational experience were not provided.
