David Meyers has a diverse work experience, starting as the Founder/CEO of Gridtractor, a fleet electrification and charging services provider for agriculture. In their role, they aim to help farmers reduce emissions, achieve energy independence, and realize significant cost savings. Prior to this, Meyers served as the CEO and President of Polaris Energy Services, where they were responsible for business operations, regulatory affairs, and business development. David also led the company to win an EPIC award. Before Polaris, Meyers held positions such as the Chief Commercial Officer at Grid4C, EVP Marketing and Sales at Borrego Solar Systems, Inc., Vice President of Sales at DC Systems, and Regional Director of Business Development at EnerNOC. David also has experience in the healthcare industry as the General Manager of MRI Imaging Center of Fresno. Meyers began their career as a Management Consultant at various firms, including Dibner Maritime Associates and Mercer Management Consulting (Oliver Wyman), where they advised clients on various aspects of strategy, operations, valuations, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory issues, and information systems. Notably, they were involved in projects such as the revamp plan for Pemex's contracting and operational practices for offshore logistics support and the development of analytical models for the Panama Canal expansion project. Meyers also held the position of Program Director at Willow Garage.
David Meyers has a diverse education history. In 1987, they attended the Israeli Naval Academy, where they completed a program in Naval Warfare and obtained the rank of Commissioned Officer. From 1995 to 1997, they pursued a Master's Degree in Maritime Management at Maine Maritime Academy. Following this, in 2000 and 2001, they attended Bentley University - McCallum Graduate School of Business and earned a Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems. In addition to their academic qualifications, David also holds certifications in various fields. In 1994, they obtained a certification from the U.S. Coast Guard as a Master of Ocean, Motor, and Steam Vessels of not more than 1600 Gross Tons. Later, in 2010, they became a Certified Energy Manager through the Association of Energy Engineers.
