Daniel Chang

Daniel Chang has extensive experience in engineering and technology, currently serving as a Hardware Specialist at Gridware since June 2022, focusing on creating reliable electronic solutions to prevent wildfires. Prior to this role, Daniel spent over 16 years at QUALCOMM Inc, where contributions included serving as Engineering Director, successfully commercializing various positioning technologies and building high-performance teams. Additional experience includes leadership positions at SnapTrack, BroadLogic, and Trimble Navigation, where Daniel oversaw teams developing DGPS and RTK technology for commercial applications. Early career experience includes engineering roles at Varian Medical Systems, focusing on testing electron devices for cancer treatment. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
