Shreyan Sen is an experienced data scientist and statistician with a robust background in environmental data analysis and education. At Aclima, Inc., Shreyan developed a stochastic simulation engine for model validation, tackled methane leak detection, and designed uncertainty quantification for air quality maps. Prior experience includes serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where Shreyan taught Physics in French, organized a national food security conference, and helped launch solar drying businesses. Shreyan also worked as a Data Scientist at Orbital Insight, focusing on algorithms for IoT sensor data, and contributed as a Schneider Fellow at the World Resources Institute, building satellite data models for water use forecasting in India. Educational qualifications include dual Master of Science degrees in Statistics and Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and minors in Mathematics and English from Duke University.
