Varsha Gopalakrishnan has extensive experience in data science and applied research, with a focus on environmental sustainability and carbon accounting. Currently serving as a Senior Applied Research Scientist at Gridware since July 2025, Varsha previously held roles such as Lead Data Scientist at The EVERY Company and Senior Consultant at Ramboll. Varsha's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Data Science Certification from Springboard. Work at Watershed involves developing carbon emissions estimation methodologies and utilizing advanced data science techniques to support climate initiatives for notable clients.
