David Ellis

David Ellis is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and commercial project development. Currently serving as CEO of Gridwealth since August 2019, David leads a company formed from the merger of MassAmerican Energy and Hampshire Power, focusing on supporting commercial and industrial real estate owners and businesses in distributed energy resources. Prior roles include CEO of Hampshire Power and Chairman and Managing Director of MassAmerican Energy, where David oversaw solar project development and a fleet of solar arrays. Previously, David served as General Manager of the Solar Division at Next Step Living, Director of Solar Sales with a successful partnership with SunRun, and held management roles at Great White Auctions and GoIndustry DoveBid, emphasizing strategic partnerships and asset management.
