Emma Tran

Emma Tran has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. Emma began their career as a Live-In Assistant at L'Arche Internationale in 2016, providing support to adults with developmental disorders. In 2017, they worked as an On-Site and Online English Learning Assistant at Sheridan College, demonstrating excellent academic writing and verbal skills by tutoring English to college students. Emma also worked as a Lab Manager, Child Cognition Lab, Research Assistant, Psychological Intervention Research Team, Research Assistant, Self-Attitudes Lab, and Undergraduate Honours Thesis at the University of Waterloo during this time. In 2021, they took on the role of UX/UI Designer at Smooth Commerce, and is currently working as a Product Designer at Gridwise.

Emma Tran attended the University of Waterloo from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Psychology. In 2020, they enrolled in CareerFoundry and completed a UX Immersion & UI Specialization program.
