Yuji Shen

Yuji Shen has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Gridwise since May 2021. In this role, they have built data pipeline and data models for Gridwise Analytics, contributed to the Ads platform and revenue improvement through ETL pipeline and models, maintained and improved the monolithic backend, and refactored the internal rideshare analytics website. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at WholeRen Education Group from May 2016 to December 2019. In this position, they developed core business modules for an ERP System using Python, SQL, and JavaScript, and also modified default ERP functionalities to improve access control flexibility and code extendability.

Yuji Shen completed their Bachelor's Degree in E-Commerce at Hunan University from 2009 to 2013. Yuji then pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Computer and Information Sciences, with a specialization in General studies, from the University of Pittsburgh between 2013 and 2015. Additionally, in 2014 and 2015, Yuji attended the Springboard Data Science Workshop to gain knowledge and skills in Data Science, although they did not earn a specific degree from this program.
