Matt Henry

Matt Henry, PhD, is based in Missoula, MT, and co-leads Gridworks’ Interior West portfolio, focusing on collaborative solutions for a just energy transition across multiple states. With over eight years of experience in just transition strategy and community engagement, Henry has previously worked as a senior researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and as a professor at the University of Wyoming, where Matt authored a book and secured substantial grant funding. They specialize in bridging technical, policy, and community perspectives, advocating for equity and long-term resilience in energy systems.
